Cub Pack 248 Webelos II Den

Hello Scouters!

I have some great news!  I have 10 tickets to see the Rochester Americans take on the Syracuse Crunch Friday October 5^th at 7:35pm.  I’d like to invite the entire den to come with an adult to enjoy the game at the Blue Cross Arena.  It may work best if we meet at St. Charles beforehand at 6:45pm so we can all car-pool and stay together.

Parking and any food or concessions will be the responsibility of each family.

This will be our den event for that week, and you may wear your class B uniforms to the game.  I’d appreciate a call or e-mail to let me know if you will attend so we are not waiting at St. Charles for people that aren't coming.

Hello Scouters!

This Thursday instead of a regular den meeting we will meet to discuss last minute details of our trip to Webelos Woods. The meeting will be held at the St. Charles Parish Center at 6:30pm.

One important thing we MUST have at the meeting is updated medical forms:

We can meet at St. Charles if anyone wants to caravan down to the camp.  Registration opens at 4:30pm, as it takes about an hour and twenty minutes without a dinner stop, I think we should aim to meet at St. Charles 3:30 and depart around 3:30 – 4:00pm to get a good spot for our tents.

Hello again:

Our Cubmaster has asked that we as Webelos II still come to joining night to show our support for the pack. We will not have any den meeting activity, but we should all be in our best uniforms to set an example for the younger boys. We will also be able to help guide the youger scouts and welcome perspective Tigers. I hear we may even have a new Webelos scout joining our den.

Hello Scouts!

I hope you all had a great summer.

Pack 248 is having their joining night this week, Thursday night at 6:30pm, so if you know anyone that would like to join the pack, send them along. I hope we can start off this year again with the Webelos Woods at Camp Sam Wood, I think the everyone enjoyed it last year, but I’ll be bringing more blankets this year ;-) At any rate it’s a great opportunity to get a head start on this year’s Webelos requirements.

You may have heard that some dens are planning a den meeting for this Thursday at the St. Charles Parish Center, but I feel it will be too chaotic there for any kind of den meeting. Let’s plan on our first den meeting for Thursday September 20th at my house. I would like you all to think about what you would like to do this year as Webelos Scouts. Keep in mind that Boy Scout Troops would like to see us cross over mid-year (around February) so that we can be ready for all the fun they have planned as we move into Boy Scouting.
